Time-to-Approval Metrics

Learn how to use the Time-to-Approval Metrics dashboard to understand how efficiently your content moves through the approval process across your Wealth Manager partners.

The Time-to-Approval Metrics dashboard gives Investment Companies a high-level view of how efficiently their content moves through the approval process. It shows how long approvals are taking, what share of submissions get approved versus changed or rejected, and what reasons partners most commonly cite when requesting changes or rejecting content.

Use this report to identify bottlenecks, compare performance across partners, and understand what's driving feedback on your submissions.

How to Access

From the top navigation, hover over Analytics and select Time-to-Approval Metrics. The dashboard opens in a new tab.

Filters

The filter panel on the left side of the dashboard applies to all charts unless noted.

Approved Date
Filters all charts by the date an Approval Request was Approved. The default view shows the last year (365 days). You can adjust to other preset ranges or set a custom date range. Hovering over the filter shows the exact dates selected.

Partner Company
Filters results to one or more of your Wealth Manager partners. Multiple partners can be selected at once. Your data is already scoped to partners your company is authorized to view.

Content Provider Ref Code
Filters by your internal reference code — useful when you want to drill into a specific piece of content quickly. Multiple codes can be selected at once. This filter also applies to the Review Activity Details table.

Charts

Approval Process Funnel

Shows how Approval Requests flow through the review process, broken out by status. The five statuses displayed are: Submitted, Approved, Change Requested, Rejected, and Withdrawn. Use this to get a quick read on your overall approval success rate.

Average Time-to-Approval by Partner

A bar chart comparing average approval time in business days across each of your Wealth Manager partners, side by side. Use this to see which partners move quickly and which take longer, so you can set appropriate expectations for your team.

Average Approval Rate by Partner

A 100% stacked bar chart showing the distribution of Approved, Change Requested, and Rejected outcomes for each partner. All bars normalize to 100%, so you can directly compare approval rates across partners regardless of volume differences.

Top Change Request Reasons by Partner

Shows the most common reasons your Wealth Manager partners have requested changes, broken down by partner. Each bar is segmented by reason category:

  • Product not available or needs modifying

  • Need to modify or add disclosures

  • Modify intended audience and/or usage

  • Approval code or version issues to address

  • Update performance data or formatting

  • Other

Use this to understand what's driving revision requests and whether patterns differ by partner.

Top Rejection Reasons by Partner

The same structure as the chart above, but filtered to Rejected submissions only. Identifying recurring rejection reasons can help you reduce rework by addressing common issues before submission.

Review Activity Details

A row-level table showing every Approval Request status event within the selected filters. Each row represents a single status change — so one Approval Request may appear multiple times as it moves through the workflow. Use this to investigate specific submissions or export data for deeper analysis.

This chart also responds to the Content Provider Ref Code filter, in addition to date and partner.
