When working with Partner-facing content, you may encounter a new status: Pending Custom Version. This article explains what it means and how to take the appropriate next step.
🔄 When Does This Status Appear?
You'll see Pending Custom Version when:
You’ve added a New Version of content, and
One or more Partners previously received a Customized Version of the prior content
This status indicates that the Approval Request is waiting for you to provide a new Customized Version for those partners.
✅ What Are My Options?
1. A Customized Version IS required?
No changes here—just follow the standard customization process:
Click Customize
Upload the new Customized Version
Click Submit when ready
2. A Customized Version is NOT required?
If the default version works for your Partners:
Click the three-dot menu on the Approval Request
Select "Revert to Default"
The default New Version will load—ready for you to Submit

Use the Pending Custom Version status as your cue to complete customization steps before submitting updated content to Partners.
